Specializing in
EMDR
Release what holds you back with EMDR therapy. EMDR helps you safely process past experiences that may be limiting your life today. Through structured, evidence-based techniques, you can reduce emotional distress, overcome old patterns & obstacles, and support your nervous system.
Trauma
Trauma can leave lasting impacts on how you feel and connect with others. Our evidence-based trauma therapy focuses on restoring safety, balance, and self-compassion, helping you reclaim a sense of control and well-being.
Perinatal
Perinatal trauma doesn’t begin and end with birth. Traumatic experiences can occur before, during, or after delivery, and can even extend into the first three years postpartum. These experiences can leave lingering emotional, mental, and physical impacts that affect both you and your family. The perinatal period is one of the most vulnerable times in a woman’s life. You don’t have to navigate it alone.
Attachment
When relationships feel difficult or unsafe, attachment therapy offers a path toward healing. In a safe and supportive space, you can understand your attachment patterns and begin to form healthier, more secure emotional bonds with others and with yourself.
Our Services
Janay Langford
LCSW, EMDR Certified, PMH-C Trained
Hello, my name is Janay Langford. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am an EMDR Certified therapist, providing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences. Grounded in the neuroscience of trauma, my work focuses on helping clients safely reprocess distressing memories and reduce symptoms of trauma and post-traumatic stress at a pace that feels manageable and supportive.
I am also PMH-C trained in Perinatal Mental Health, supporting individuals and families through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. I work with concerns such as postpartum depression, anxiety, birth trauma, attachment challenges, and family planning, with an emphasis on emotional well-being, resilience, and healthy relationships.
As a Southern Utah native and desert girl at heart, I feel deeply connected to the sunshine, red rock landscapes, and wide-open spaces that define this community. My goal is to create a grounded, supportive space where healing can unfold at a natural pace, helping clients find clarity, resilience, and a deeper sense of connection in their lives.

Frequently Asked Questions

EMDR uses bilateral stimulation which supports the brain’s natural ability to heal/reprocess distressing experiences. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR doesn’t require you to go into detail about everything you’ve been through. Many clients experience faster relief, reduced emotional intensity, and lasting changes in how they feel and respond to triggers.

Trauma-informed care is an approach to therapy that recognizes how past experiences can affect your thoughts, emotions, and body. It focuses on creating a safe, supportive environment where you feel in control, respected, and not overwhelmed. Rather than asking “what’s wrong with you,” it asks “what has happened to you,” and uses that understanding to guide healing.
